DrummerCity is not only about selling apparel and accesories; it goes beyond that.  It started way back in New Haven, Connecticut.  I was in the Wilbur Cross High School marching band when this feeling for Drums began in 1985.  Imagine me in the school marching band.  This great opportunity allowed me to gain skills in leadership, discipline and uniformity of both, musical and visual performance.  We played around the city in different activities, such as the St. Patrick's Day Parade, football games, basketball and much more.  If you had been in a marching band, you would understand my feelings.  Being led by the greatest band director, to whom I dedicate this project.  He taught and helped me in every aspect of my playing, reading, and performance in various instances of my life.  This is in memory of Mr. Edwin Elwood.  Then, when graduation came in 1988, its arrival was so sad.  It was the end of the Drummer in the city for me; and I am sure that many of you men and women out there have felt the same; unless you headed straight to a college with a marching band, perhaps.  So, I decided it was not over; I kept playing drums in bands at pubs and other places.  My love for drums continued to grow so much that, still today, has kept on growing.  For those true drummers, I decided to create this site as a place to share, learn and develop skills and much more. Thanking the Lord for all the talent out there.  DrummerCity has been highly successful since day one.
